Well, I must admit that it will be hard to top last week's Publix purchases for the food bank! I just love my local store on Fence Road in Dacula. They are so helpful, and have been gracious enough to let us place one big order from their store rather than splitting up and going to 5-8 different stores! They have the friendliest staff, and I actually drive further just so I can shop there! So..last week we donated 99 bags of Vigo Rice (each bag was free plus overage), 66 jars of Beech-Nut Baby Food, and 45 cans of Hunt's tomatoes all for just the cost of TAX! It was the best feeling in the whole world, especially after delivering to the Lawrenceville Co-op and witnessing the long line wrapped around the building with people standing in the cold. There are people in need right here in our own communities and placing a few extra items in your buggy each week (especially if they are FREE) is an effortless way to help!

I love that you are able to give so much to your local food bank. Every time I read your blog it make me cry. Hearing about the long line of people standing in the cold for food really gives one pause. Thank you for all that you do.
