I just wanted to thank all of you for following the Clipping for a Cause blog over the past year or so! It has been unbelievable to witness this ministry growing in such a short amount of time! To think, we started out in a church in Lawrenceville, GA, and have expanded to other chapters across the U.S. and all the way up to Maine! Although we won't be putting updates on this blog anymore, we would LOVE for you to keep up with us on our new website at: www.clippingforacauseinc.org. Spread the word and encourage others to visit the site and see what we are all about! You can contact us at email@example.com. Also, make sure you "like" us on Facebook here Again, thank you for your support and encouragement. Each of you have been a blessing in some way to Clipping for a Cause and we are so grateful!

Congratulations to CassDalton84, who guessed $0.80 for the total cost that was spent out of pocket to donate 27 boxes of Ramen Noodles and 30 Purex 3 in 1 sheets to the local food bank! The actual cost: $0.31! A quarter, a nickel and a penny is all it took to help stock the shelves and make a difference to those in need! CassDalton84 has 48 hours to respond to this post before another winner is chosen. Stay tuned for future Clipping for a Cause giveaways and thanks to everyone who participated in this one!

Michelle over at I Heart Kroger has a great resource on her site here for those of you who would like to fill your kids' Easter baskets with FREE and cheap candy!! I am all over this one! With three little ones, the bunny that comes to visit our house is extremely cheap and loves a good deal..especially on this kind of stuff! ;) Michelle lists the candy currently on sale at Kroger along with the coupon matchups for each. You can't beat getting 20 items for only $3.16!

I just had to share this with you. Pictured are two back-to-back receipts that we have received at checkout for Clipping for a Cause. Both have a savings equal to $316 (and some change). To me, out of all of the numbers the savings could have equaled, this is just not a coincidence.

Clipping for a Cause-Charlotte has their list posted for the best ways to donate for FREE or pocket change at Harris Teeter this week!! You have got to check out this list if you live close to this store! Their super doubles sale always makes for some really great ways that you can donate to the local food bank or homeless shelter for next to nothing. In fact, just glancing at the list, I noticed 16 ways to do so for FREE! What an effortless way to help others in need. Too bad we don't have an HT here in Atlanta!

To kick off Spring, one lucky reader will win a $20 Publix gift card next Monday! All you have to do is leave a comment with your guess at the amount of money that was spent out of pocket to donate the above items to the Southeast Gwinnett Co-op today. It's hard to see everything pictured, so here is a list: 27 boxes of Ramen Noodles (each box contains 12 packages), 30 Purex 3-in-1 sheets (travel size), 2 bags of Halls, and 1 Kit-Kat bar! For those of us who love couponing, $20 can be stretched a LONG way. In fact, you can buy a TON more than what's pictured with a $20 gift card (hint, hint!) Good luck to you. One winner will be chosen and announced on Monday. Oh..and if you are a Clipping for a Cause ministry member and already know the total..sorry!!
(Note, the same giveaway is taking place on our Facebook page here)
