PRESS RELEASE: August 25, 2010

Written by Carli Amlin Dean on behalf of ClipShopShare

Turning $200 into $10,000

In just 6 short months time, ClipShopShare has donated over $10,000 of groceries, toiletries, paper goods, school supplies and more.

ClipShopShare is a volunteer group of a few local professionals that donate their time to use coupons and sales to stock local food pantries, shelters, etc. With the use of weekly drug store & grocery store sales and the pairing of these with coupons ClipShopShare has now donated over $10,000 of items for less than $200 out-of-pocket. ClipShopShare’s Leadership Team includes Kim & John Wilder of Brookville, Carli Amlin Dean from Tipp City, Chris Long of Troy and Kim Brumbaugh from Pleasant Hill.

In addition to helping their neighbors in need, ClipShopShare also offer a once-a-month FREE Coupon Coaching Session. They teach how to use coupons to reduce your weekly grocery budget while also learning how to conservatively create a small stockpile. Currently the class is the 1st Wednesday of the month at Ginghamsburg Church at 7pm. Please check the website for location of class and directions at www.ClipShopShare.com

Follow www.ClipShopShare.com and Facebook page Clip, Shop, Share for daily deals posted about items for FREE, coupons to print, ways to reduce your budget, sales at local grocery and drug stores, and of course…the successful shopping and donations made for the week on behalf of ClipShopShare.

Want to help ClipShopShare and the food pantry but don’t have time to coupon yourself? Just donate your coupon booklets to ClipShopShare. They have boxes set up in TIPP CITY at Ginghamsburg Church, New Path Food Pantry, Schroeder Tennis Center, Amlin Advantage of RE/MAX Professionals, and Tipp Monroe Community Services. In Huber Heights at Fox’s Pizza, in Troy at RE/MAX Professionals and in Dayton at Wright State University’s University Center for International Education. You may also mail inserts to 890 Ginghamsburg Road, Tipp City, Ohio 45371 in care of ClipShopShare.

“Couponing just seems like such an obvious answer to helping people,” says Carli, so, if you want to help people and learn how to save money yourself, get involved in ClipShopShare. We are always looking to expand the shopping team!
