Clipping For a Cause

This blog was created to combine two passions: saving money by couponing and helping those in need. Since February of 2010, others have been inspired to respond to the cry of the needy. "Clipping for a Cause" has now formed chapters in North and South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida and Mississippi. Together, we can stock the shelves of food banks across America. "A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor." Proverbs 22:9

Current Items Needed at Lawrenceville Co-Op

Vegetables:
Green beans, peas, corn, mixed veggies, white and instant potatoes, yams

Canned Beans:
Baked pork and beans, pinto, kidney, lima, refried, black, and great northern beans

Soup: Vegetable, chicken, tomato, cream, broth, dried soup/Ramen

Pasta and Rice: Mac-N-Cheese, spaghetti pasta and sauce, plain pasta, plain rice, canned pasta meals

Meat: Fish and Protein: Chicken, turkey, beef, tuna, salmon, chili, peanut butter, pork and ham

Fruit: Peaches, fruit cocktail, pineapple, pears, oranges, applesauce, fruit juice/drink mix, jelly, jam, preserves

Cereals: Oatmeal, grits, cereal

Other Food Items: Baking supplies/mixes, crackers, cookies, Jello, pudding, canned milk and powdered milk

Personal Care: Shampoo, soap, toothpaste, deodorant, toilet paper, sanitary napkins, tampons, Depends, diapers

Household: Laundry and dish detergent
