61 FREE Reach Toothbrushes Ordered at Kroger!

During Kroger's mega sale last week (ended Saturday), Clipping for a Cause was able to take 61 donated coupons to Kroger and place a large order for Reach Toothbrushes! Total cost: just tax!! 2nd Annual "Run For Food" 5K

This information was obtained directly from the Southeast Gwinnett Co-ops monthly newsletter. I wanted to pass it along especially to those in the area who have a passion for helping the needy and enjoy running/walking in 5K's too!! Please consider participating in this great annual event!

Come join your friends and neighbors as we work to make the second annual Run for Food 5K Run a great success! The run will be Saturday April 16th at 9 am (8am check in and registration). You can sign up on-line today here! On-line sign up will be a HUGE help to us, please sign up soon!

We are asking all runners to offer others the opportunity to sponsor them for the Run for Food 5K! The minimum sponsorship is $15 for entry, but we hope you will join us to raise additional funds as we reach out to provide food to those who are hungry!

Great Ways to Donate for Free Or Pocket Change at: Publix (Through Wednesday or Thursday)

If you haven't started a filing system yet for your coupons, make a goal in 2011 to get more organized! While it takes some time in the beginning, the rewards are WELL worth it! Everyone is different, but for mine, I just have a filing cabinet with different sections labeled, "Smart Source," "Red Plum," "General Mills," "P&G" and "Store Coupons." I have a piece of paper in between each week of inserts dividing them. It's so easy to flip that way to the week you need, and this way, it's out of sight and not taking up a whole section of your room!

To see the shopping cart overloaded with items, I couldn't help but think about the people we see each week waiting in a long line for the co-op doors to open, or the homeless men that help us unload food at the Quinn House. I am grateful to God for working through each of us to do what we can to help the needy!
