For those of you who like to get paid to grocery shop (who doesn't!?) this deal is for you!! Not only will your house be smelling great, but it will be ten times better knowing that you earned money in your pocket just by tossing a few Set & Refreshes in the buggy! Check out the following deal this week at Publix! If you have the $3/5 P&G products listed also, you can score even more overage to spend on something else on your list (if your store allows!) Keep in mind though, the P & G coupon expires TOMORROW! Thanks IHeartPublix!

-$3/1 Febreze Noticables Starter Kit or Warmer 9/26/2010 P&G Insert (exp 10/31/2010)
-$3/5 P&G products 9/26/2010 RP Insert (exp 10/16/2010)

**I should also update all of you on something different we have been trying with "Clipping for a Cause." As most of you know, after we clip coupons on Wednesday night for items that will be free or nearly free, we divide the coupons and send several shoppers to several stores so we don't wipe any shelves out at one particular store. We ALWAYS want to be mindful of other shoppers, so this has been the way we've done it from day one. However, my most favorite Publix of all time in Dacula on Fence Road has now set up a way to make life easier on everyone involved! We meet and clip on Wednesday nights and then on Thursday, we call the store with our "order." That's right!! Keep in mind if you have multiple coupons of one particular item, rather than wiping off the shelves, you can call around the first day of the sale and Publix will put in a special order for your items and have it ready for you in a few days!! So..with the Febreze deal, we are ordering 80+ which will be $40+ in overage! This is a win win..your store gets to enter in the extra sales, you aren't wiping the shelves for anyone else coming behind you, and you get to purchase all of the items in one place rather than "store hopping!"

A Few Freebies at Target (Through 10/16)

Thanks to Jenny over at Southern Savers for the matchups! There are a few freebies to take advantage of if you happen to be shopping at Target this week.

Recently, a few of our Clipping for a Cause shoppers have experienced some issues with cashiers not wanting to accept coupons for certain items. While we would never try to use a coupon improperly or fraudulently, it's not a good feeling to basically be accused of that by a cashier when you are clearly not doing anything wrong. Rather than getting management involved and turning it into a long and embarrasing ordeal, we have started encouraging our shoppers to be prepared and carry along a a copy of Target's coupon policy with them when they go. Call it nerdy, but to me I would rather whip that paper out then feel as though I am getting hassled for using a coupon the correct way!

**TIP**If you are just starting to coupon and set a few things aside to donate to your church food pantry or other local charity, keep this in mind. Non-perishables are not the only things that organizations need. Check to see if your local food bank accepts cold items too. Several do, and even if they don't, there may be another homeless shelter right around the corner that does!

For the Locals: Donate a Canned Food Item, Get a Free Chick-Fil-A Milkshake!

O.K. If you have ever had a Chick-Fil-A milkshake (great-now I am craving one at 1 a.m!) and live close to Snellville, this opportunity for a free sweet treat is for you! The Snellville Chick-fil-a across from Wal-Mart on Hwy 124 is giving away a free small milk shake if you bring in canned food items to benefit the Southeast Gwinnett Co-op. Offer ends October 15th. (Thanks for the reminder, Carole!)
